The cabin has been designed to create the ultimate experience. It has an indoor gas burning fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, and multiple lounging areas on the first floor. The second floor has a 70” TV and oversized couch. All bedrooms have oversized windows to maximize your views and bring the outdoors in.

The outdoor deck wraps around 3 sides of the structure, providing 270 degree views of the private 78 acre property. The covered section of the deck has a porch with a wood burning fireplace. The deck also holds a hot tub, outdoor shower and ample seating for sunrise views. Underneath the covered porch is a full sized cushion swing for multiple to lay in. There is also an outdoor fire pit.

Contact-free check-in is from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Check in details, including your door code, will be sent by email 48 hours prior to your arrival.

Check out is by 11:00 AM on the scheduled day; your access code will cease to work at this time.

Late checkout: unless agreed upon in advance with The Acres management, late checkout will be billed to the registered guest at $100/hour. In the event subsequent guests must be accommodated elsewhere the registered guest will also be billed the full cost of re-accommodating that guest.

Kitchen: dishes, countertops, stovetop and refrigerator should be clean. Please remove all perishable, personal food items. Dishwasher may be left running. Additional cleaning required will be charged at $50/hr.

Garbage: please drop your garbage bag at the roadside garbage cans. Unfortunately, there is no recycling service in Hocking County. We encourage you to bring your recyclable items home with you!

Linens can stay on the beds, please leave used towels in the bathrooms. Any missing towels ($30) or bathrobes ($60) will be charged to the registered guest. (If you’d like to keep one of our cozy bathrobes to remind you of your stay, we’d be happy to ship you a brand new one – just let us know!)

Please close all windows and doors securely.

The surrounding Hocking Hills area boasts state parks, national forests, hiking trails, caves, canoeing, adventure parks, zip-lining, rock climbing, horse trails, as well as year-round festivals, winery and brewery events.

Guests of all ages are welcome, however neither the cabin nor the property has been child-proofed. It is important for children to be supervised during their stay, especially around any fire feature and while exploring the natural terrain outside. There are fire features, an ungated hot tub, as well as a large deck and varying terrain that require direct adult supervision.

We provide a high chair, pack-n-play, and child-friendly dishes in each cabin. Guests under 2 years of age do not count towards the occupancy limit.

Guests will receive a full refund (with the exception of the 8% credit card processing fee) if the booking is canceled, in writing, within 48 hours of booking and at least 30 full days prior to the reservation date. Guests will receive a 50% refund for bookings canceled, in writing, up to 30 days prior to reservation date.

Cancellations within 30 days of reservation date are non-refundable.

Yes. The registered guest (reserving guest) must be at least 25 years of age. This guest assumes all responsibility and sole liability for any loss, injury or accident suffered by all guests in your party while on the premises and for any damage or injury caused to the property or other persons.

We hold a $500 deposit, which is returned after your stay. Please note that the registered guest must agree to be held liable for all damages to the property or other guests upon booking confirmation, even if it exceeds the $500 deposit.
